I know what it’s like to love your daughter and still not know how to reach her.

Hi, I’m Aniyah.

I got pregnant at 17 and had my daughter at 18. I stepped into motherhood carrying wounds I didn’t even have names for yet — PTSD, depression, anxiety, and pain from a childhood that left me more broken than I knew.

I was so lost in my own suffering that it showed up in every room I walked into — including the ones I shared with her. The tension between us, the distance, the hurt — so much of it traced back to wounds in me that I had never faced.

“I caused pain I never intended because I was carrying pain I never healed.”

It took leaning fully on God and doing the hardest, most humbling work of my life to begin repairing what had been broken between us. To rebuild what had been lost. To show up as the mother she always deserved.

That journey is why Nurture with Aniyah exists.

Healing is not a destination. It’s a daily decision.

I want to be transparent with you about something: I am still on this journey. Every single day, I choose healing over the patterns that once broke me. Some days that choice is easy. Other days, it takes everything I have.

But that’s exactly what makes this work so important to me. I’m not standing at the finish line waving you in. I’m in it with you — actively doing the work, choosing better, and learning what it means to show up whole for myself and for my daughter.

Professional training. Personal experience. That’s the difference.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I bring clinical knowledge in trauma, family systems, and human behavior to everything I create. I understand the psychology behind why we react the way we do, why patterns repeat, and what it actually takes to break the cycle.

But what truly separates me isn’t what I learned in a classroom. It’s because I have lived every layer of this work. I don’t just teach it — I live it every single day. I know the difference between understanding healing intellectually and actually doing the messy, sacred work of becoming.

That combination, the clinical and the personal, is what makes Nurture with Aniyah different. You’re not getting theory. You’re getting truth from someone who has been in the fire and come out the other side still standing.

I’m Aniyah — a Licensed Master Social Worker, a mother, and a woman who has been exactly where you are. I built this space so you don’t have to figure it out alone.
